All students who successfully complete any one of the Distance Learning Therapist Training Courses offered by Therapy Training School are awarded a Diploma (Distance Learning).
Our Distance Learning Courses for Therapists are also all accredited by the Guild of Holistic Therapists, the Guild of Beauty Therapists and the International Natural Healers Association (INHA).
You may apply to join the INHA or the Guild of Holistic Therapists (Associate Membership only). You may then use the appropriate letters after your name: RH INHA and/or MGHT.
This Diploma allows you to arrange for you own professional insurance to practice via a wide choice of UK Insurance companies. If you wish to join any specific organisation (other than the GHT or the INHA) it is your own responsibility to check that they accept and approve Distance Learning Courses.
Please note: From April 2008 we will be also able to provide details for worldwide insurance cover. This would allow any student, anywhere in the world to obtain insurance to practice professionally.
3. Distance Learning Course with Assessment
Any student who passes a course of Distance Learning who would like to join the Guild of Beauty/Holistic Therapists as a full member (and to take out Guild insurance) must first pass an Assessment. This is a practical demonstration of their skills (taking no more than 60 minutes) that would be carried out by an approved Assessor in a location that would be as close as possible to the student’s home or premises in the UK.
Once a student has successfully passed their course test and case study we can then arrange for an Assessment to take place. The student would deliver a therapy using the Assessor as the client and thus demonstrate their knowledge and skills with the therapy.
Within 5 days of the Assessor submitting a favourable report to Therapy Training School the student would receive an Advanced Diploma (Distance Learning). The cost of the practical Assessment is: £50.00
Any student who completes a Distance Learning Course and is awarded a Diploma (DL) can decide at any point to upgrade to the Advanced Diploma. A new Certificate would be issued upon successful completion of the Assessment. |
